Why My Cats Are Water Snobs

My cats won’t drink from their water bowl if it’s been sitting for more than two hours. They’re not thirsty—they’re *discerning*.

After some research (and a lot of rejected water bowls), I learned many cats prefer running water. It’s instinctual—running water in nature is often cleaner.

So now I use a small pet fountain, and they love it. No more judging stares. No more paw-dipping protests.

Pro tip: If your cat is ignoring their water, try a fountain or refresh it more often. They might not be fussy—just smart.
